Kitchi Island Outpost

Located approximately 50 air miles from Matheson Island, Kitchi Island Outpost Camp sits on a point at the mouth of Flour Channel, part of the Berens River system leading to Flour Falls. The lake spans three miles by two miles, featuring a rapid entering the lake and two waterfalls along the river. Anglers can explore over 12 miles of river, with access to Horseshoe Lake.

The rustic yet comfortable hand-hewn log cabin accommodates 8 guests in two bedrooms, each with two sets of bunk beds. Amenities include hot and cold running water with showers, solar-powered lights and water pressure, a propane stove and refrigerator, propane BBQ, chest freezer, and satellite phone. A screened porch and a large deck provide spaces to relax after a day of fishing or hunting.
